Sunan at-Tirmithiy كتاب الصوم باب ما جاء ما يستحب عليه الإفطار

حَدَّثَنَا مَحْمُودُ بْنُ غَيْلاَنَ حَدَّثَنَا وَكِيعٌ حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ عَنْ عَاصِمٍ الأَحْوَلِ ح وَحَدَّثَنَا هَنَّادٌ حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو مُعَاوِيَةَ عَنْ عَاصِمٍ الأَحْوَلِ. وَحَدَّثَنَا قُتَيْبَةُ قَالَ أَنْبَأَنَا سُفْيَانُ بْنُ عُيَيْنَةَ عَنْ عَاصِمٍ الأَحْوَلِ عَنْ حَفْصَةَ بِنْتِ سِيرِينَ عَنِ الرَّبَابِ عَنْ سَلْمَانَ بْنِ عَامِرٍ الضَّبِّىِّ عَنِ النَّبِىِّ صلى الله عليه وسلم قَالَ إِذَا أَفْطَرَ أَحَدُكُمْ فَلْيُفْطِرْ عَلَى تَمْرٍ. زَادَ ابْنُ عُيَيْنَةَ فَإِنَّهُ بَرَكَةٌ فَمَنْ لَمْ يَجِدْ فَلْيُفْطِرْعَلَى مَاءٍ فَإِنَّهُ طَهُورٌ. قَالَ أَبُو عِيسَى هَذَا حَدِيثٌ حَسَنٌ صَحِيحٌ.
Salmān Ibn-Āmir ad-Dabbiy said that the Prophet, peace and blessings of God be upon him, said, "When one of you breaks his fast, he should do so with dates." Sufyān Ibn-Uyaynah (one of the narrators) added to this (the words of the Prophet, peace and blessings of God be upon him): "... for indeed, they (dried dates) are a blessing.
